Description
This lot consists of 150 rounds of remanufactured .32-20 Winchester ammunition, also known as .32 W.C.F., presented in three green plastic storage cases. The cartridges are loaded with flat-nose lead bullets, a configuration traditionally intended for use in lever-action rifles and revolvers. This is a mixed lot of brass featuring various headstamps from several historical manufacturers. Verbatim markings transcribed from the case heads include W.R.A. CO. 32 W.C.F. for Winchester Repeating Arms Company, REM-UMC 32 for Remington-Union Metallic Cartridge Company, U.S.C. CO. 32 for United States Cartridge Company, WESTERN 32-20, PETERS 32, and SAVAGE 32-20 H.P. for Savage Arms high power loads. The ammunition is organized in a vertical grid pattern within the boxes, which are designed for secure storage and transport of individual cartridges.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good overall condition for remanufactured components. The brass cases show varying degrees of age-related patina and tarnishing, with some light surface oxidation present. The lead bullets exhibit a mild degree of oxidation, appearing as a characteristic white coating on the surface of the lead. All primers appear to be seated correctly and the rounds appear to be live. The green plastic cases are fully functional but show minor external scuffs and surface wear consistent with storage.
