Description
This commemorative wooden ammunition crate was produced by Winchester to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the AA target load line from 1965 to 2015. The crate is constructed from stained wood with finger-jointed corners and features a removable lid. Key markings include the Winchester horse and rider logo with 50 Years 1965-2015, the red AA logo, and the phrase Legendary Excellence printed on the lid. One long side of the crate is marked Small Arms Ammunition Shot Gun Cartridges Manufactured By Winchester Ammunition East Alton, IL. U.S.A. Verbatim end panel markings specify 12 Gauge, 2 3/4 Inch, 250 Cartridges, 1145 Velocity, 1 1/8 Oz, and 8 Shot. A manufacturer sticker on the bottom identifies the item as AA50WB with barcode 0 20892 02353 6 and credits Olin Corporation. The item is currently empty and is presented as new in the box.
Condition report:
The wooden crate is in excellent condition with no visible signs of wear. The stained wood surface is free of scratches or dings. All printed graphics and text are vibrant and clearly legible. The finger-jointed corners are tight and structurally sound. The lid fits correctly and the bottom manufacturer label is intact.
