Description
This lot consists of 80 empty brass casings for reloading, primarily chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum. The collection features a majority of standard brass casings with several nickel-plated examples interspersed, all contained within a clear plastic bin. Visual identification is confirmed by the headstamps on the base of the casings. The brass specimens are marked with 300 WEATHERBY in the top arch and WBY MAG in the bottom arch. Additionally, a nickel-plated casing is marked with R-P in the top arch and 300 WIN MAG in the bottom arch, identifying it as .300 Winchester Magnum manufactured by Remington-Peters. The casings are in fired, spent condition, showing characteristic internal carbon residue at the necks and various levels of surface tarnish and oxidation.
Condition report:
The casings are in used, fired condition. The brass and nickel-plated finishes exhibit varying degrees of surface oxidation, tarnish, and minor scratches consistent with field use and storage. Internal carbon fouling is present within the case necks. All primer pockets remain occupied by spent primers. The casings appear structurally sound but remain uncleaned, unresized, and in their raw fired state.
