Description
This Kimber Model 84M LPT (Light Police Tactical) is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .223 Remington, designed as a precision tactical or varmint platform. The firearm features a 24-inch heavy fluted barrel with a matte black finish, terminating in a threaded muzzle fitted with a knurled thread protector. The receiver is equipped with a Picatinny-style optic rail for mounting various sighting systems. It is mounted in a black synthetic polymer stock that includes textured grip panels on the pistol grip and forend, with the LPT model designation molded into the forend panels. Key markings include the Kimber script logo and 84M on the left side of the receiver, which also bears the serial number KM31102 and a small P proof mark. The barrel is roll-stamped with KIMBER MFG. INC. YONKERS, NY, USA, 223 REM, and LPT. The rifle is finished with a hinged floorplate and a black rubber recoil pad. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte black finish on the barrel and receiver remains in excellent condition with only minor handling marks. The polymer stock is sound and shows some light, superficial scuffing primarily on the buttstock. The bore appears bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The bolt action and hinged floorplate appear to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
