Description
This lot features an RCBS full-length two-die set chambered for .22 K Hornet, contained in a signature green plastic storage box. The set consists of a full-length sizing die with an integrated decapping rod and a bullet seating die, both featuring knurled adjustment knobs and steel locking rings. Also included is a single gray-finished shell holder, providing the necessary components for case preparation and bullet seating on a standard reloading press. The green plastic case serves as protective storage and includes its original factory labeling. Verbatim markings on the end label include the part number 26201, quantity 1, group D, and the description F L DIE SET .22 K HORNET. The label also contains the manufacturer’s location as RCBS INC., OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA 95965, along with the printed number 67 and a handwritten price code BAEX. The exterior lid is embossed with the RCBS Precisioneered Reloading Dies logo and a bear-in-crosshairs graphic.
Condition report:
The dies and shell holder are in used but serviceable condition. Light surface oxidation and minor pitting are visible on the knurled adjustment knobs and locking rings, though the threaded sections appear clean and functional. The interior of the dies shows minimal wear. The green plastic storage case has some external scuffing and minor soiling consistent with age and use in a workshop environment. The label shows some staining and discoloration but remains fully legible.
