Description
This lot features a Ruger New Model Blackhawk single-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge. The firearm is equipped with a 6.5 inch barrel featuring a ramped front sight and a micro-adjustable rear sight. The metal surfaces exhibit a high-polish blued finish throughout the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The revolver is fitted with factory-original checkered black synthetic grips, each adorned with an inset silver-tone Ruger eagle medallion. Key markings include the model designation RUGER .357 MAGNUM CAL. / NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK transcribed from the left side of the frame and the serial number 38-32963 on the right side of the frame. The revolver is accompanied by its original Ruger-branded gray plastic hard case and a factory instruction manual. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in excellent overall condition, retaining nearly all of its original blued finish. There is a very faint and narrow turn line on the cylinder, indicating minimal use. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The single-action mechanism appears to function correctly with crisp hammer clicks and positive cylinder lockup. The grips are in excellent condition with sharp checkering and no visible cracks. The gray plastic case is structurally sound, though it has the name Starlings written on the front in white marker.
