Description
This lot consists of 147 rounds of .32-20 Winchester (.32-20 W.C.F.) ammunition along with approximately 50 loose bullet tips. The ammunition is contained in two plastic storage cases. The first case holds 101 rounds featuring mixed headstamps including REM-UMC 32-20, W.R.A. CO. 32-20, WESTERN 32-20, WINCHESTER 32-20, and PETERS 32-20, loaded with jacketed soft-point bullets. The second case contains 48 rounds primarily headstamped R-P 32-20 WIN and loaded with lead flat-nose bullets. Hand-written notations on the plastic cases suggest these rounds are reloads. Also included is a small Remington cardboard box labeled 100 REMINGTON 32/20-100 SP BULLETS with additional markings 422417, 41, 79-6-19, and 9158, containing approximately 50 loose jacketed soft-point projectiles. This ammunition and its components are intended for firearms chambered for the .32-20 Winchester cartridge.
Condition report:
The ammunition and components are in good overall condition. The brass cases show varying degrees of age-appropriate tarnish and light surface oxidation. Primers appear intact; however, as these appear to be hand-loaded rounds, we have not function-tested them. The plastic storage cases are in good condition without cracks. The cardboard Remington bullet box shows significant wear, including fraying at the edges, creasing, and old tape repairs. The loose bullet tips show no signs of heavy corrosion or damage.
