Description
This Ruger Vaquero is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt featuring a 4.62-inch barrel and a high-polish stainless steel finish. The firearm is currently fitted with smooth dark gray and black marbled synthetic grips while a second set of factory smooth wood grips featuring silver-tone Ruger medallions is also included providing 2 grips for the user. Technical markings include the left side of the frame roll-marked RUGER VAQUERO .45 CAL. and the right side of the frame displaying the serial number 57-18303. The barrel is marked with the manufacturer warning and address specifying BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM -STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.-. This lot includes its original gray plastic factory hard case with a label matching the serial number and catalog designation KBNV-44 as well as a sealed instruction manual and a yellow plastic factory cylinder guard. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The high-polish stainless steel finish is in excellent condition exhibiting a bright mirror-like luster with very few handling marks. Both the installed marbled synthetic grips and the spare factory wood grips appear in excellent condition with no visible cracks or damage. The bore was not observed during inspection. The action appears to function correctly with solid lockup and timing though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition.
