Description
This Harrington & Richardson Model 929 Sidekick is a double action revolver chambered in .22 caliber. It features a nine-shot swing-out cylinder and a 6-inch barrel. The firearm is constructed with a blued steel frame and barrel. The furniture consists of black checkered synthetic grips featuring molded H&R circular medallions and a single diamond-shaped screw escutcheon. Sights are comprised of a fixed front blade and a rear notch integrated into the frame. Key markings include the model designation MODEL 929 and .22 CAL. stamped on the left side of the barrel, and H&R INC. U.S.A. on the left side of the frame. The serial number AE101522 is stamped on the underside of the grip frame. The action appears to function correctly, although we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in fair to good condition. The blued finish shows thinning and wear throughout, specifically on the barrel, cylinder, and grip frame. Scattered surface oxidation and areas of light pitting are visible on the frame and barrel. The cylinder exhibits a visible drag line and typical internal residue. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and light fouling. The synthetic grips are well-preserved with sharp checkering and minor handling marks. The action cycles and the cylinder locks up as intended.
