Description
This lot consists of 300 rounds of remanufactured .25-20 Winchester ammunition, commonly referred to as reman, presented in four plastic storage cases. The collection features a variety of projectile styles, including lead flat-nose and jacketed soft-point flat-nose bullets. Headstamp markings indicate the brass has been sourced from multiple manufacturers, primarily Remington and Western, with prominent verbatim markings including R-P 25-20 WIN and WESTERN 25-20 WIN. The ammunition is distributed across one blue 100-round Midway flip-top box, which bears a lid label for .257 Roberts that does not match the current contents, and three clear plastic flip-top boxes of varying capacities. The components and assembly are consistent with remanufactured specifications for this vintage centerfire rifle caliber.
Condition report:
The brass cases exhibit varying degrees of age-related patina and light surface oxidation across the different lots. Lead projectiles show minor dings and surface dulling consistent with bulk handling and storage. Primers appear to be seated to consistent depths, though they vary in finish and color between the mixed brass manufacturers. The plastic storage containers are in functional condition with some surface scuffing and remnants of old adhesive labels. This ammunition is offered as remanufactured and has not been function tested for performance or safety.
