Description

This is a Smith & Wesson Model 625-3 “Model of 1989” double-action revolver chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. Built on the heavy N-frame, this firearm features a 4-inch barrel with a full-length underlug and a satin stainless steel finish. The six-shot fluted cylinder is designed for use with moon clips and displays a faint turn line. The revolver is equipped with an adjustable black rear sight and a pinned ramp front sight on a serrated rib. The furniture consists of black checkered rubberized grips featuring a gold-tone medallion with a logo. Extensive markings are visible including SMITH & WESSON on the left side of the barrel and 45 CAL MODEL OF 1989 on the right. The frame bears the Smith & Wesson trademark on the left and a four-line address on the right specifying MADE IN U.S.A. / MARCAS REGISTRADAS / SMITH & WESSON / SPRINGFIELD, MASS. The crane is stamped with the model designation MOD. 625-3 and the serial number BEN4914, which is also clearly struck on the underside of the grip frame. The firearm is presented with a black zippered soft case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The firearm is in very good overall condition with the stainless steel finish remaining clean and free of significant scratches or pitting. The markings are sharp and well-defined. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly with good timing and lockup, although we have not function-tested this firearm. The rubberized grips are excellent with crisp checkering and no signs of tearing or hardening.
