Description
This lot consists of four boxes of Federal Premium Safari centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in .416 Remington Magnum. The collection includes three boxes of 400-grain Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer cartridges under product number P416RT2 and one box of 400-grain Trophy Bonded Bear Claw cartridges under product number P416RT1. In total, the lot contains 57 live rounds and 23 empty brass casings. The cartridges are manufactured with nickel-plated cases and copper-jacketed projectiles. Verbatim markings on the packaging include Federal Premium Safari, 416 Rem. Mag., 400 Grain, Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer, and Trophy Bonded Bear Claw. Individual cartridge headstamps are clearly marked F C 416 REM MAG. The ammunition is housed in original brown and blue cardboard boxes featuring gold-tone graphics.
Condition report:
The nickel-plated cases remain in good condition with minor surface tarnish consistent with age. The 57 live rounds appear well-preserved with no signs of corrosion or bullet setback. The 23 empty brass casings show standard signs of having been fired but appear structurally sound for potential reloading. The cardboard packaging exhibits visible shelf wear, including frayed edges, surface abrasions, and several orange adhesive price tags. One box has handwritten notations in black ink on the front face.
