Description
This Interarms Mark X is a bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington and built upon a commercial Mauser-style action. The rifle is equipped with a blued barrel and receiver set into an attractive high-gloss finished wood stock featuring a Monte Carlo comb, a raised cheekpiece, and skip-line checkering on the forend and pistol grip. Optics include a Weaver 1 inch scope with a post and crosshair reticle mounted in Weaver rings. Verbatim markings on the left side of the receiver include MARK X and ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA INTERARMS MANCHESTER ENGLAND accompanied by a compass-star logo and a circled Z mark. The left side of the barrel is engraved Cal. 22-250. The right side of the receiver displays the serial number B 314695 and several proof marks. The firearm is completed with a black Pachmayr White Line recoil pad and front and rear sling swivel studs. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition. The original blued finish is well-preserved with only minor thinning at the muzzle and faint handling wear on the receiver. The high-gloss wood stock shows some light scattered dings and minor surface scratches consistent with use, but the checkering remains sharp. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not test-fired this firearm. The Weaver scope optics are clear and the reticle is crisp. The recoil pad is in good condition.
