Description
This is a ceramic beer stein produced for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. by Ceramarte of Brazil. It is the fifth installment of the six-part Busch Family Series, dedicated to August A. Busch III and themed A Legacy of Quality. Produced for the 2005 State Convention, the vessel features a wrap-around relief scene with multi-color printed details. The central panel displays a portrait of August A. Busch III set against a blue and green world map. Accompanying scenes include a toast held before a brewery landscape, the SeaWorld Adventure Parks logo, and depictions of Budweiser, Bud Light, and O’Doul’s bottles. Additional graphics include the Brewing a Better Environment emblem and a Know When to Say When responsible drinking logo. The upper rim is decorated with a navy blue band reading A LEGACY OF QUALITY. The lower section features a ring of raised gold-tone stars above a navy band with Anheuser-Busch, Inc. in script, ending with a red band at the base. The underside features a printed narrative of the Busch presidency from 1974 to 2002, the model number STCONVAUG3, a 2004 copyright, and a silver-stamped serial number 06633.
Condition report:
The stein is in excellent condition. The ceramic body is free of chips, cracks, or crazing. The printed graphics and relief elements show no signs of fading or wear. The base and interior are clean and well-preserved.
