Description
This High Standard SK-100 Sport King is a semi-automatic target pistol chambered for .22 Long Rifle cartridges. The firearm features a 6.75-inch tapered barrel equipped with a fixed blade front sight and a windage-adjustable rear notch sight. The pistol is constructed with a blued steel finish on the slide, frame, and barrel. It is fitted with dark brown mottled checkered polymer grips that feature a prominent thumb rest on the left panel designed for a right-handed shooter. One detachable blued steel magazine with a side loading button is included with the lot. Verbatim markings on the left side of the slide include HI-STANDARD flanked by lightning bolt symbols, while the left side of the barrel block is marked SPORT-KING. The right side of the slide is marked with the model designation SK-100 and the serial number 506218. The right side of the barrel block is marked HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A. .22 L.R. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition, retaining a significant portion of its original blued finish. There is evidence of light handling wear, including minor surface scratches on the barrel block and frame, and slight thinning at the muzzle and high edges. The polymer grips are in excellent condition with sharp checkering and no visible chips or cracks. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The slide action appears to function correctly and the magazine seats properly. We have not function-tested this firearm.
