Description
This Ruger Single-Six is a single-action revolver chambered in .22 caliber, featuring the classic three-screw frame design characteristic of the “Old Model” production era. The firearm is equipped with a 5.5-inch round barrel and a side-mounted ejector rod. The entire steel surface features a bright, high-polished nickel or chrome finish, presenting a mirror-like aesthetic across the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The grip frame is fitted with smooth, dark wood panels that exhibit a rich grain and deep color. Sights consist of a fixed front ramped blade and a rear notch integrated into the frame’s top strap. Verbatim markings on the top of the barrel read STURM, RUGER & CO. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. while the left side of the frame is stamped RUGER .22 CAL. SINGLE-SIX followed by the Ruger phoenix logo. The serial number 148974 is clearly visible on the right side of the frame. This lot includes a brown zippered padded soft case and a clear acrylic display stand. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver presents in very good condition overall, with the high-polish finish remaining bright and highly reflective. There are minor surface handling marks and faint hairline scratches consistent with light use, primarily visible on the cylinder and barrel. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, with the hammer cocking securely and the cylinder indexing properly. The smooth wood grips are in very good condition, showing only minor contact marks at the base and no cracks or chips. The soft case remains fully functional with light external wear.
