Description
This Armalite AR-50A1 is a single-shot bolt-action rifle chambered for the .50 BMG cartridge, engineered specifically for extreme long-range precision shooting. The firearm features a 30-inch heavy tapered barrel fitted with a massive, multi-chambered muzzle brake designed to mitigate significant recoil. The octagonal receiver is finished in a durable matte black and comes equipped with an elongated Picatinny rail for the secure mounting of heavy optics. The rifle is integrated into a black metal chassis system that includes an adjustable cheek piece for a customized weld and a textured black polymer pistol grip for enhanced control. A short accessory rail is located on the underside of the forend, and the buttstock is fitted with a black rubber Decelerator recoil pad. Key markings transcribed from the receiver include the Armalite logo alongside ARMALITE PHOENIX, AZ, the model designation AR-50A1, and the serial number SER.US383028. The barrel is stamped with the caliber 50 BMG. Please note that this rifle is missing its factory bipod and does not include any optics or a magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The overall physical condition is very good, with the original matte black finish showing only minor surface scuffs and light handling marks primarily on the barrel and the edges of the chassis. The bore is bright and clean with sharp, well-defined rifling. The bolt action appears to function smoothly and locks securely into the receiver, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. The polymer pistol grip and adjustable cheek piece are well-preserved, and the recoil pad remains supple with minimal wear.
