Description
One Hamilton Watch Co. open face pocket watch, Grade 940, produced circa 1910. The timepiece features a white enamel dial with bold black Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at the six o’clock position, and an outer minute track with red five-minute markers. The dial is signed Hamilton in script and features blued steel spade and whip hands. The movement is a 21-jewel, railroad grade, lever-set manual wind caliber with a double roller, motor barrel, and safety pinion, adjusted to five positions. The movement serial number is 837124. The gold-filled case features a decorative coin-edged band and a polished case back with an engraved foliate monogram reading MSH. This lot includes a yellow felt protective pouch and a handwritten note from a previous owner describing the watch’s specifications.

Condition report:
The watch is in good antique condition. The enamel dial shows two very small chips at the outer edge near the 2 and 10 o\'clock positions, as noted in the accompanying documentation. The gold-filled case displays light surface scuffs and minor wear consistent with period use. The crystal remains clear. The movement was not opened for inspection but is described in the included note as having been recently serviced and in excellent working order.
