Description
A Schrade Old Timer model 158OT Guthrie fixed blade hunting knife, produced during the final production run at the company’s Ellenville, New York factory. The knife features a satin-finished drop point blade with an integrated gut hook on the spine. The handle is constructed with black textured Sawcut Delrin scales secured by two silver-colored pins and includes a lanyard hole at the pommel. The blade tang is stamped in two lines with SCHRADE and U.S.A. 158OT. An oval metal shield inlaid into the handle is marked OLD TIMER. This lot includes the original blue and white factory box, a brown leather belt sheath with snap closure and rivet reinforcement, and a Schrade Factory Final Production Run Certificate of Authenticity. The documentation certifies that this knife was among the last produced before the factory closed in July 2004.
Blade length: 3.72 inches.
Condition report:
This knife is in New Old Stock (NOS) condition and retains the original factory edge. The blade shows visible minor surface oxidation and spotting on both sides. The Delrin handle scales and pins are in excellent condition. The leather sheath exhibits minimal handling wear. The original box and certificate are present, with the box showing light shelf wear and scuffing to the edges.
