Description
A Taurus Model 218 double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .218 Bee, primarily configured for target shooting or small game hunting. This firearm features a 12-inch barrel equipped with a ventilated rib and multiple ports along the upper sides to assist in recoil management. The metal surfaces display a matte stainless steel finish, and the revolver is fitted with a seven-shot fluted cylinder. The furniture includes black textured rubber finger-groove grips featuring Taurus logo medallions. Sighting is handled by an adjustable rear target sight and a ramped front sight blade. Key markings include the manufacturer name TAURUS on the left side of the barrel and the caliber .218 Bee on the right. The frame is clearly stamped with TAURUS INT. MFG. MIAMI, FL. – USA, serial number VJ985365, and MADE IN BRAZIL. The crane is marked with the assembly numbers 6453 and 217. Included with this lot are the original factory box with a matching serial number label, owner manual, safety lock keys, and a clear acrylic display stand. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte stainless steel finish is in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of handling and a faint turn-line on the cylinder. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double-action modes; however, we have not function-tested this firearm. The rubber grips are well-preserved with sharp texturing and no significant wear. The factory box displays minor shelf wear and storage dings but remains intact with a legible end label matching the firearm.
