Description
This lot consists of two US silver dollars featuring the Morgan Head obverse and the heraldic eagle reverse. Both coins were struck at the New Orleans Mint, indicated by the O mint mark located on the reverse. The dates present are 1897 and 1901. These coins are struck in 90% silver and 10% copper alloy. Both specimens exhibit significant circulation wear and heavy, dark toning across both faces.

Composition: .900 silver, .100 copper.
Condition report:
Both coins show heavy circulation wear consistent with fine to very fine grades. Significant loss of detail is visible on the high points of Liberty’s hair and the eagle’s breast feathers. The surfaces display deep, dark toning and numerous contact marks and abrasions. Neither coin has been professionally graded or slabbed.
