Description
This lot consists of four 1971-S Eisenhower silver dollars, struck at the San Francisco Mint in a 40% silver composition. These specimens are known as Blue Ikes due to their original US Treasury packaging. Each coin features the Eisenhower obverse and the Apollo 11 reverse design. The coins are individually sealed in their original soft plastic mint sleeves, which also contain a blue plastic token inscribed EISENHOWER UNCIRCULATED SILVER DOLLAR. Included in the lot are two informational cards titled UNCIRCULATED 40% SILVER EISENHOWER DOLLAR COIN, which describe the production process on high-speed presses.

Condition report:
The coins are in uncirculated condition as issued by the US Mint. The surfaces display original luster with natural toning present in shades of champagne and light brown. Visible contact marks and abrasions are consistent with the high-speed minting and counting processes described in the accompanying literature. The clear plastic sleeves remain sealed but exhibit minor wrinkling from storage.
