Description
This lot features 20 rounds of Winchester 150th Anniversary commemorative centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in .30-30 Winchester. Produced to celebrate the company’s sesquicentennial from 1866 to 2016, these cartridges are loaded with 150-grain Power-Point soft point bullets seated in bright nickel-plated cases. the ammunition is housed in its original decorative cardboard sleeve which fits over a limited edition wooden display box featuring a sliding lid. Both pieces of packaging are adorned with traditional Winchester graphics including the horse and rider logo and a detailed hunting scene depicting a hunter confronting a grizzly bear. The side of the cardboard packaging and the wooden box prominently display the text Winchester The American Legend and 150 Years. Verbatim transcription of the headstamp on the individual cartridges reads Winchester 30-30 Win.
Condition report:
The ammunition and its original packaging are in excellent, well-preserved condition. The nickel-plated cartridge cases remain bright and clean, showing no signs of tarnish, oxidation, or corrosion. The copper-jacketed soft point bullets are likewise in excellent condition. The wooden display box is structurally sound with vibrant graphics and a functional sliding lid. The cardboard outer sleeve exhibits only minor shelf wear and light scuffing along the edges and corners. The ammunition appears live and remains in its original factory configuration.
