Description
This Sturm, Ruger & Co. Mini-14 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 Remington, configured as a classic utility carbine. The firearm features an 18.5-inch stainless steel barrel and receiver set into a light-colored smooth hardwood stock with a black polymer ventilated handguard. It is equipped with a protected front blade sight and a rear aperture sight, and it includes one detachable stainless steel finish box magazine. Key markings include the receiver heel stamped RUGER / MINI-14 ® / CAL. .223 and the left side of the receiver bearing the serial number 184-22551. The right side of the receiver is marked with a safety warning and the manufacturer information STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. The rifle is finished with a black polymer buttplate and includes integrated sling swivels on the gas block and buttstock. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel finish is in very good overall condition, showing light handling wear and a few scattered spots of minor surface oxidation on the exterior of the barrel. The hardwood stock is well-preserved with very few handling marks or dings. The polymer handguard and buttplate are in good condition. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though the rifle has not been function-tested or live-fire tested. The bore was not inspected.
