Description
The FN Herstal FNAR Competition is a precision-oriented semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62 x 51mm. This firearm features a 20-inch matte black fluted barrel that bears Belgian proof marks, including the ELG in a crowned oval. The receiver is constructed with a blue-anodized finish and is outfitted with a full-length Picatinny rail for optics and a secondary rail section mounted under the muzzle. The rifle is equipped with a distinctive blue and grey laminated wood stock featuring decorative arrowhead cutouts and a black rubber recoil pad. Prominent markings include the FN logo followed by FNAR Competition and the serial number 319ZY01039 on the left side of the receiver, while the right side is marked Team FNH USA. The barrel is stamped with FNAR 7.62 X 51 MM and FN HERSTAL BELGIUM – FNH USA FREDERICKSBURG, VA. This lot includes a black hard plastic carrying case marked FN Herstal, two detachable box magazines, two additional cheek pieces, a manual, and a cable lock. Condition report:
This rifle is in excellent condition and appears potentially unfired. The blue-anodized finish on the receiver and the matte black finish on the fluted barrel are extremely well-preserved with no notable scratches or wear. The blue and grey laminated stock is clean and free of dings or cracks, and the rubber recoil pad is supple. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though this firearm has not been function-tested. The included accessories, magazines, and hard case are all in excellent condition.
