Description
A Winchester Model 94 lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester. This firearm features a 20-inch round barrel with a blued finish on the receiver, barrel, and full-length magazine tube. The furniture consists of a smooth walnut straight-grip stock and matching forend. It is equipped with a hooded front post sight and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear leaf sight. The rifle is fitted with a black checkered composite buttplate embossed with the Winchester Repeating Arms logo. Key markings on the barrel include WINCHESTER – ® – MODEL 94 30-30 WIN. and MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL. The serial number 3993916 is stamped on the underside of the receiver. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in good overall condition. The blued finish remains strong on the barrel and magazine tube, while the receiver shows areas of surface spotting and light pitting, primarily on the left side. The wood stock and forend exhibit light handling marks and minor dings consistent with moderate use. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
