Description
This lot consists of a collection of 213 total rounds of .357 Magnum ammunition featuring jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullets. Handwritten internal labels identify the rounds as 158-grain. The ammunition is organized into four translucent blue MTM Case-Gard P50-38 plastic storage boxes. The quantity breakdown by box is as follows: the top-left box contains 50 standing rounds; the top-right box contains 56 total rounds (50 standing, 6 loose); the bottom-left box contains 51 total rounds (50 standing, 1 loose); and the bottom-right box contains 56 total rounds (50 standing, 6 loose). The cartridges utilize brass casings, though no specific manufacturer markings are visible on the headstamps in the provided images. Prominent markings include the boxes embossed with MTM CASE-GARD P50-38 and 38 – 357 MAG, as well as internal tape labels reading 357 MAG 158 GR JHP.
Condition report:
The brass casings exhibit light surface tarnishing and minor discoloration throughout the lot. The exposed lead tips of the jacketed hollow point bullets show significant white oxidation and powdery corrosion. The plastic storage boxes are in good functional condition with light handling marks and shelf wear. The ammunition is sold as-is; the primers and powder charges have not been function-tested, and we make no claims regarding the reliability or safety of these rounds.
