Description
This Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk is a single-action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum, configured for heavy-duty field use and target shooting. It features a 7.5 inch barrel with a blued finish and a full-length ejector rod housing. The frame and unfluted cylinder are finished in a high-polish blue, with the cylinder featuring a decorative roll-marked pattern. The firearm is equipped with a traditional square-back trigger guard and smooth hardwood grips inset with silver-colored Ruger medallions. Sighting is handled by a fixed ramp front sight and a micro-adjustable rear sight. Key markings include the frame designation RUGER .44 MAGNUM CAL. over NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK and the serial number 86-39019 on the left side of the frame. The top of the barrel is roll-marked BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM – STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. – . This firearm appears to be in excellent overall condition, retaining the vast majority of its original factory finish. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
the high-polish blued finish is in excellent condition throughout, showing only a very faint cylinder turn line and minimal signs of handling. The bore is bright with sharp, well-defined rifling and no evidence of pitting or corrosion. The smooth wooden grips are well-preserved with no cracks or significant dings. The action appears to function correctly with solid lockup and proper timing, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
