Description
This lot consists of 53 rounds of Remington Arms Company Kleanbore .32 Short Rimfire ammunition. The cartridges feature copper cases and lead bullets, housed in an original two-piece green cardboard box with red and white printed labels. The primary box markings include .32 SHORT RIM FIRE, 50 CARTRIDGES, and the trademarked KLEANBORE logo, alongside the manufacturer name REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. AMMUNITION AND FIRE ARMS BRIDGEPORT, CONN., U. S. A. and MADE IN U. S. A. The red bowties on the label are marked REMINGTON UMC on either side of the central logo, and the side of the box is marked R.140. The cartridges are primarily headstamped with the letter U incised on the base, though one example bears a P headstamp. Inside the box, a portion of the original white cotton packing material is present. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in fair to good condition, showing natural aging. The copper cases exhibit a darkened patina and some light oxidation. The lead bullets display visible white oxidation on the surface, which is typical for cartridges of this age. The box shows significant shelf wear, including fraying at the corners and edges, light staining, and some loss to the finish of the labels. The ammunition appears to be live.
