Description

This lot comprises a group of eight vintage L.E. Wilson precision handloading tools, each housed in its original yellow cardboard box. The collection includes a variety of neck sizing dies and chamber-type bullet seaters, as well as one neck die blank. Handwritten caliber designations on the box ends identify the tools for several cartridges, specifically .257 Roberts, 6mm Remington, 7mm TCU, .250 Savage Improved, .22-250, .17 Remington, and .223 Ackley. The tools are constructed of polished steel with knurled gripping sections for ease of use. Verbatim markings printed on the box covers include Tools WILSON Gages and FOR ACCURATE UNIFORM HANDLOADS. One tool is clearly stamped – L. E. WILSON CASHMERE. WA. – along with 6mm REMINGTON. These tools were manufactured in Cashmere, Washington, and are respected among handloaders for their precision and durability in producing consistent ammunition.

Condition report:

The tools are in good used condition, with the steel components retaining a mostly bright, polished finish and sharp knurling. Some minor surface oxidation and light signs of use are present on the metal surfaces. The original yellow cardboard boxes show varying degrees of shelf wear, including some edge fraying, minor staining, and light fading of the printed text. A few boxes retain vintage adhesive price labels. The overall presentation is that of a well-cared-for set of vintage reloading equipment.
