Description
This Colt King Cobra is a double-action revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, designed for both duty and sporting applications. The firearm is equipped with a 6 inch barrel featuring a ventilated rib and a full-length underlug. The revolver is constructed with a brushed stainless steel finish on the frame, barrel, and the six-shot cylinder. It is fitted with black rubber finger-groove grips that include inset gold-colored Colt medallions. The sighting system consists of a ramp front sight with an orange insert and a micro-adjustable rear notch sight. Extensive markings are visible on the piece. The left side of the barrel is engraved with KING followed by a cobra head logo and COBRA. The right side of the barrel specifies the chambering and manufacturer as -.357 MAGNUM CARTRIDGE- over COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. The serial number C9574 K is stamped on the frame under the crane. Additionally, a rampant Colt logo is visible on the left side of the frame. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The brushed stainless steel finish is in good condition, showing light surface scratches and handling marks throughout from moderate use. There is visible carbon residue and darkening on the cylinder face and the crane area. The bore is bright with sharp, distinct rifling. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double action modes, though the firearm has not been function-tested with live ammunition. The rubber grips remain supple and intact without significant wear or damage, and the gold medallions are clear.
