Description
This is a Belgian-manufactured semi-automatic takedown rifle produced for the Browning Arms Company and chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. The rifle features a blued barrel and a receiver decorated with traditional Grade I scroll engraving. Its furniture consists of a wooden stock and forend with a high-gloss finish and checkering on the wrist and forend. The design includes a bottom-ejection port and a tubular magazine that is loaded through the side of the buttstock, with the magazine tube handle located at the buttplate. The firearm is equipped with an adjustable rear leaf sight and a fixed front blade sight. The barrel is marked BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo. & MONTREAL P.Q., MADE IN BELGIUM, BROWNING PATENTS, and .22 LONG RIFLE. The action appears to function correctly, and the rifle can be easily separated into two components using the takedown mechanism. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver remains largely intact with only minor handling marks. The high-gloss finish on the wooden stock and forend shows some light scratches and a few more prominent scuffs on the forend. The bore is bright with well-defined rifling. The checkering on the wood remains sharp, and the takedown mechanism operates smoothly.
