Description
A collection of miscellaneous vintage steel scope rings and firearm mounting accessories, primarily of American manufacture. The assortment includes various styles of split and solid rings, several of which are clearly stamped LYMAN TRU-LOCK and MIDDLEFIELD, CONN. U.S.A. Also included are components identified as Weaver detachable mounts, with some rings bearing the WEAVER DETACHABLE mark. The lot contains a variety of mounting blocks, bases, and associated screws, as well as one small component in a translucent plastic storage pouch. Most pieces are of steel construction with original blued finishes.
Condition report:
The items are in varied vintage condition showing signs of moderate use and age. Visible surface oxidation, light rust, and minor pitting are present on many components. The original blued finishes exhibit wear, thinning, and finish loss across much of the collection. Functional threads on screws and clamping mechanisms appear generally intact, though some surface corrosion is present.
