Description
This lot consists of a total of 40 rounds of .444 Marlin centerfire rifle ammunition, comprised of two 20-round boxes from prominent manufacturers. The first item is a factory-sealed box of Remington Express Rifle ammunition, identified by product code R444M, containing 240-grain soft point (SP) cartridges. The green and yellow cardboard packaging is wrapped in clear plastic. The second item is a box of Buffalo Bore Heavy 444 Marlin ammunition, specifically Item 9C, which features 270-grain jacketed flat nose (JFN) bullets with a stated muzzle velocity of 2250 F.P.S. This ammunition is housed in a clear plastic tray containing 20 rounds. A visual inspection of the Buffalo Bore cartridges reveals headstamps marked R-P 444 MARLIN, indicating the use of Remington-Peters brass cases. The Remington box remains unopened, while the Buffalo Bore box has been opened for inspection.
Condition report:
The Remington ammunition is in factory-sealed condition with the exterior plastic wrap intact. The Buffalo Bore ammunition box is open and shows minor shelf wear, including light edge scuffing. All 40 cartridges appear in excellent condition, with clean brass cases and no visible signs of corrosion on the projectiles or primers. The ammunition appears live and well-preserved.
