Description
The Remington Model 504 is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered for the .17 Mach 2 cartridge, configured for precision small game hunting and target use. This firearm features a 20 inch carbon steel barrel and a receiver finished in a durable matte black. The rifle is fitted with a checkered wood stock featuring an attractive grain, a pistol grip with a stylized R logo grip cap, and a black Remington-branded recoil pad. It is equipped with two black scope rings mounted to the receiver and includes one detachable cast-metal magazine with an orange follower. Prominent markings include the serial number 50408193 on the left side of the receiver next to the Remington and MODEL 504 stamps. The barrel is marked with REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY INC. MAYFIELD, KY and 17 MACH 2. The bolt action appears to function smoothly, though the rifle has not been test-fired. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition with the matte black finish on the metal components remaining well-preserved and showing only minor handling marks. The wood stock is in very good shape with crisp checkering and only a few superficial dings. The mechanical action appears to function correctly. The magazine shows some light oxidation consistent with its cast-metal construction but remains in good functional condition.
