Description
A W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. single-blade lockback folding pocket knife from the Caliber series, model LT. 1405L SS. The knife features a stainless steel clip point blade with a nail nick opening. The handle is constructed from black textured synthetic material with a integrated lockback mechanism. The front tang is stamped with the Case XX logo over USA and five dots. The reverse tang is stamped 51405L SS. The item includes its original silver and red cardboard retail box labeled with item number 00147 and Case Caliber LT. 1405LSS. Also included is a brown leather belt sheath featuring a snap fastener embossed with W. R. Case & Sons Bradford, PA and the XX logo.
Blade length: 2.375 inches.
Condition report:
The knife is in near-mint condition, appearing unused with a factory edge and no visible sharpening wear or significant scratches. The lockback mechanism is fully functional. The original box exhibits light shelf wear and minor creasing at the corners. The leather sheath is in very good condition with only minor surface marks.
