Description
One Browning SA-22 semi-automatic take-down rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, designed for portability and field use. This rifle features a 19.375 inch blued barrel and a blued receiver decorated with Grade I floral scroll engraving on both sides. The furniture consists of a checkered walnut stock and forend with a high-gloss finish; the stock contains a tubular magazine with a loading port located on the right side. It is fitted with a Simmons .22 Mag 4x28mm scope mounted on a cantilever-style rail attached to the barrel, and the factory rear sight has been removed to accommodate this optic. Key markings include the serial number 10923PM146 located on the right side of the receiver. Barrel markings specify CALIBER .22 LONG RIFLE / BROWNING PATENTS on the left side and BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN on the right. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in very good overall condition. The blued finish on the barrel and receiver is well-preserved with only minor handling wear and a few faint surface scratches. The walnut stock and forend retain a high-gloss finish with some light handling marks and small indentations but no cracks or structural damage. The bore was not visually inspected but is expected to be consistent with the well-maintained exterior. The action appears to function correctly, and the take-down mechanism operates smoothly. The Simmons scope has clear optics with a standard crosshair reticle.
