Description
This lot consists of a collection of 126 rounds of vintage .25-20 Winchester centerfire rifle ammunition housed in three distinct factory boxes. The assembly includes one yellow Winchester box, catalog number W 25201, labeled for 86 grain lead bullets; it contains cartridges with various headstamps including W.R.A. CO. 25-20 W.C.F., W.R.A. 25-20 WIN., and W-W 25-20 WIN. A second white Winchester-Western box, catalog number X25202, is labeled for 86 grain jacketed soft point bullets and contains cartridges with W-W 25-20 WIN headstamps and visible copper-jacketed tips. The third is a white Western box, catalog number 25201, labeled for 86 grain lead bullets, featuring cartridges with headstamps including WESTERN 25-20 WIN and W-W 25-20 WIN. The cardboard packaging for all three boxes exhibits moderate age-appropriate shelf wear, such as edge fraying, surface staining, and minor scuffing, though all labels and graphics remain clearly legible. The cartridges themselves feature brass casings with a mixture of lead round nose and jacketed soft point projectiles, appearing to be in good, well-preserved condition.
