Description
This lot consists of a total of 300 Rounds of vintage Peters rimfire ammunition housed in three separate 100-count transparent yellow plastic dispensers. The cartridges are chambered in .22 Long Rifle and feature lead round-nose bullets seated in brass cases. Each individual plastic box is wrapped in a white and blue cardboard sleeve with red and black text. Verbatim markings on the packaging include Peters HIGH VELOCITY 22 LONG RIFLE and 100 RIM FIRE CARTRIDGES along with the manufacturer location MADE IN U.S.A. and the standard warning KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. The ammunition is oriented within the plastic cases for easy dispensing, and each cartridge bears the characteristic Peters U headstamp on the rim. The clear plastic construction allows for verification of the quantity and type of ammunition without opening the protective cases.
Condition report:
The plastic containers show light shelf wear with some surface scuffing and minor scratches. The cardboard sleeves are in good condition with some light edge wear and minor age-related discoloration but remain fully legible. The ammunition itself displays well with light, expected tarnishing to the brass cases consistent with long-term storage. All cartridges appear to be factory original, live, and in functional condition.
