Description
Ceramic beer stein produced for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. as the sixth and final installment in the Busch Family Series, specifically issued for the 2007 State Convention. The unlidded stein was manufactured by Ceramarte of Brazil. It features a multi-colored relief design with a wraparound graphic titled A LEGACY OF QUALITY in white block letters on a blue band at the top. The front showcases a photographic-style portrait of August A. Busch IV with a raised gold-tone nameplate banner below. Side graphics include the St. Louis brewery clock tower, Budweiser frogs, a chameleon, aluminum bottles of Budweiser Select and Bud Light, and glass bottles of Bud Light and Michelob Ultra. Additional imagery includes a brewery copper kettle and logos for ABMarketing.com, Busch Satellite Network, and the Real Men of Genius advertising campaign. The base features a blue band with raised gold stars above a red, white, and blue band with the Anheuser-Busch, Inc. script. The underside of the base is marked with the manufacturer Ceramarte, the series title, the 2007 State Convention designation, the individual item number 20982, and a biographical paragraph detailing August A. Busch IV’s career.
Condition report:
The item is in excellent condition. The ceramic body is free of chips, cracks, or crazing. The colored relief and graphics are well-preserved with no visible wear, fading, or loss of detail. The base markings are clear and legible.
