Description
This collection consists of four RCBS reloading dies for the 7×57 Mauser cartridge, organized as two separate pairs representing two full-length sizing sets. The dies are constructed from machined steel and feature knurled grip surfaces to facilitate manual installation and adjustment. One matching pair features black hexagonal lock rings with manufacturing marks indicating a 1989 production date. The second pair features knurled silver-tone lock rings with mixed manufacturing dates. Verbatim markings found on the bases of the dies include RCBS 7X57 SEAT 69, RCBS 7X57 FL 88, RCBS 7X57 FL 89, and RCBS 7X57 SEAT 89. Both full-length sizing units include integrated decapping pin assemblies. This group provides a total of two sizing dies and two seating dies for the specified caliber. No original storage boxes, instructions, or additional accessories are included with this lot.
Condition report:
The dies are in used condition, showing typical signs of handling wear and light age. The steel bodies exhibit scattered spots of light surface oxidation and minor finish thinning, most notably on the knurled adjustment surfaces and threaded sections. The threads remain well-defined and appear functional. All four lock rings are present and move freely on the die bodies. The decapping pins on the two sizing dies are intact and appear straight.
