Description
This lot consists of 100 live rounds of hand-loaded .30-06 Springfield caliber rifle ammunition, organized into two black plastic flip-top storage boxes manufactured by MTM Case-Gard. The first box contains 50 rounds fitted with green polymer-tipped projectiles, which the handwritten lid label identifies as 125 grain ballistic tips loaded with 40 grains of Reloder 7 powder. The brass in this container is mixed, with visible headstamps transcribed verbatim as R-P 30-06 SPRG and DOMINION 30-06 SPRG. The second box contains 50 rounds featuring hollow-point projectiles, with a handwritten lid label transcribing the load as 125 grain hollow points with 48 grains of Accurate 2230 powder. Cartridges in the second box exhibit headstamps transcribed as F C 30-06 SPRG. Each box uses a 5×10 grid for secure storage, and the components suggest these rounds were prepared for specific performance parameters. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in good overall condition, with the copper-jacketed projectiles and polymer tips appearing clean and undamaged. The brass cases show varying degrees of surface tarnishing and light oxidation consistent with long-term storage, but remain structurally sound without significant corrosion or pitting. The plastic storage boxes are in good condition with minor external scuffing and fully functional hinges and latches. As these are hand-loaded cartridges, we have not function-tested them, and they should be handled with standard safety precautions for live ammunition.
