Description
A collection of eight individual medical field dressings and bandages comprising military-specification and commercial tactical components dating from the late 20th century through the contemporary era. These items are standard medical equipment designed for trauma care and individual first aid kits (IFAK).
The collection includes one sterile trauma dressing manufactured by Dukal Corporation of Ronkonkoma, New York, measuring 10 inches by 30 inches (25.4 by 76.2 cm) with catalog reference 1030TD. Three Z-folded wound packing dressings distributed by Bound Tree Medical and IMS, Inc. are included, each measuring 4.5 inches by 4.1 yards. These are housed in olive drab vacuum-sealed pouches and bear National Stock Number (NSN) 6510-01-527-8329.
