Description
A pair of RCBS 3-die reloading sets chambered for .44 Magnum, specifically configured for semi-wadcutter and wadcutter projectiles. Each set is housed in an original green plastic case and contains a steel sizer die, an expander die, and a seater die with adjustable knurled locking rings. Key markings transcribed from the end labels include RCBS Inc., Oroville, California 95965, with Part Number 18606 for the 3 Die Set .44 Mag SWC and Part Number 18607 for the 3 Die Set .44 Mag WC. The dies feature a textured knurling for manual adjustment and are designed for use in standard reloading presses. Both cases retain their original yellowed end-label stickers and orange sale price stickers of $35.00.
Condition report:
Both sets exhibit moderate finish wear and areas of light surface oxidation on the steel die bodies and adjustment rings. The threads appear to be in functional condition with no significant stripping or damage observed. The original green plastic cases show light scuffing and minor discoloration consistent with age and shop storage. The paper labels are yellowed and show minor staining but remain fully legible. The internal seating stems and decapping pins appear present and intact.
