Description
A cased pair of RCBS reloading dies chambered for .221 Remington designed for full-length resizing and bullet seating. The set consists of one full-length sizing die with an integrated decapping and expander rod assembly and one seating die. Both metal dies feature knurled bodies and silver-colored knurled locking rings. The set is housed in its original green plastic storage box. Verbatim markings on the original paper label include the RCBS logo and text reading GROUP A, PART # 10801, USE SHELL HOLDER # 10, and FL DIE SET 221 REM. The number 97 is also printed on the label. The storage box lid is marked with the RCBS logo, PRECISIONEERED Reloading Dies, and OMARK INDUSTRIES Sporting Equipment Division. A handwritten inventory mark is present on the lower right corner of the box lid. No shell holder is included.
Condition report:
The dies show signs of light use with minor surface residue and faint wear to the knurling but the threads and internal components appear well-maintained. The decapping pin is present and appears straight. The original green plastic storage box exhibits typical scuffing and age-related wear. The paper identification label shows significant staining and some edge wear but all technical information remains clearly legible.
