Description
A collection of eight vintage firearm accessory kits for raised handgun ribs manufactured by The Poly-Choke Co., Inc. The assortment includes seven kits for the Ruger Security Six with a 4-inch barrel (Model 96109) and one kit for the Colt New Frontier with a 6-inch barrel (Model 96202). Each kit consists of a metal rib designed for user installation without the need for machining or fitting. The items are contained in their original retail packaging, featuring black cardboard boxes with yellow and red graphics and transparent display windows. The packaging is marked with the manufacturer name and address, The Poly-Choke Co., Inc., Hartford, CT 06101, along with patent numbers 3556889 and 195340. The ribs are seated on yellow foam interior inserts.
Condition report:
The kits are in good condition with signs of shelf wear consistent with age. The cardboard packaging shows edge wear, light scuffing, and adhesive tape residue. The interior yellow foam inserts exhibit light discoloration and age-related degradation. The metal ribs themselves appear unused.
