Description
This lot features a Jennings Model 25 semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in .25 Auto with a 2.5 inch barrel. The firearm is designed with a blowback action and features a bright chrome finish on both the slide and frame. The sights are integrated into the slide, consisting of a fixed front blade and a notched rear sight. The furniture consists of black textured polymer grip panels featuring horizontal ribbing for an enhanced hold. Verbatim markings on the left side of the slide include Jennings Firearms, Inc. BY CALWESTCO IRVINE, CA. U.S.A., while the right side of the slide is engraved with MODEL 25 .25 AUTO. The serial number 005933 is stamped on the right side of the frame above the trigger guard. The pistol is accompanied by one detachable magazine, its original blue factory cardboard box, and a Calwestco, Inc. instruction manual. It should be noted that the serial number on the box label, 005540, does not match the firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in good overall condition. The chrome finish remains largely bright and reflective, showing light surface scratches and minor handling wear consistent with use. The polymer grips are well-preserved with no cracks or significant chips. The mechanical action appears to function correctly, with the slide cycling and the safety engaging as intended, however, we have not function-tested this firearm. The bore was not inspected. The accompanying box shows some shelf wear and minor edge fraying but remains structurally intact.
