Description
The Smith & Wesson SD9 VE is a striker-fired semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, designed for reliable performance and ease of use. This firearm features a 4 inch stainless steel barrel and a matching stainless steel slide with pronounced cocking serrations at the front and rear. The frame is constructed from black textured polymer and includes an integrated accessory rail for lights or lasers. The pistol is equipped with a fixed three-dot sighting system and a tactile loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide. Verbatim markings on the left side of the slide include SMITH & WESSON SD9 VE followed by the manufacturer logo, while the right side is marked SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A. The top of the barrel hood is stamped – 9 MM – and the indicator is marked LOADED WHEN UP. The frame includes a factory-applied serial number label on the underside reading HFJ4669. Included with the firearm is one stainless steel magazine and a black MTM Case-Gard model 807 polymer handgun case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The stainless steel slide and barrel exhibit minor surface handling marks and light scuffing consistent with moderate use. The black polymer frame shows visible white surface residue or wear patterns above the trigger guard and on the grip panels. The bore is bright with sharp, distinct rifling and no signs of pitting or corrosion. The action appears to function correctly with a crisp trigger pull and smooth slide travel. The magazine retains a bright finish and functional spring tension. The MTM polymer case is in good overall condition with standard exterior shelf wear.
