Description
This lot features one Taurus model PT 100 AF semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, featuring an open-top slide and an alloy frame. The handgun is equipped with a 5-inch barrel and fixed three-dot sights. The slide and receiver have a blued finish, while the furniture consists of two-piece checkered wood grips accented with brass Taurus medallions. Key markings include the manufacturer and importer information on the left side of the slide, transcribed as TAURUS INT.MFG.INC. MIAMI, FL. and the serial number SNA 37320 D on the left side of the frame. The right side of the slide is marked FORJAS TAURUS S.A. MADE IN BRAZIL and PT 100 AF CAL. .40 S&W. The firearm is equipped with an ambidextrous safety and decocking lever. One detachable magazine with a red follower is included. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows significant holster wear and finish loss on the slide flats, front strap, and controls, exposing the underlying metal. The frame shows light scratches and carry wear consistent with service use. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The wood grips are well-preserved with sharp checkering and minor handling dings. The included magazine shows moderate external wear and remains serviceable.
