Description
This lot features two pairs of professional-grade nickel-plated steel handcuffs manufactured by the Peerless Handcuff Company. The first pair is a hinged restraint model utilizing a triple-hinge design to provide increased restriction of movement. This set is stamped on the left cuff with the serial number W5808. The second pair is a Peerless Model 300 chain-linked restraint. This set features a standard two-link chain with swivels and is stamped on the outer rim with MODEL 300, PEERLESS HANDCUFF CO., SPRINGFIELD, MA. The opposite cuff is stamped vertically with the serial number 1695391. Both pairs are constructed of nickel-plated steel. No keys are present for either set.
Condition report:
Both pairs show signs of standard law enforcement use. The hinged handcuffs exhibit moderate surface wear and light oxidation, particularly on the hinge pins and interior edges. The Model 300 chain handcuffs show surface scratching and minor pitting and oxidation on the chain links and cuff bodies.
